Welcome to the Twitter Chats Blog Tour, organized by Mariana N. Blaser at mariblaser’s randomities and Anne Tyler Lord at Don’t Fence Me In, with writers from #litchat, #writechat and #fridayflash. You will be directed to your next stop at the end of this post. Please feel welcome here, and have a happy Mother’s Day!
- Because words can’t possibly reflect how privileged I am to know so many amazing Mothers– my own not the least of them — my post is the above video tribute. (My only regret is not having pictures of all of you.)
Thanks for stopping by!

How cool Kristi! Sometimes words are totally unnecessary, eh? 😉
I specially love the picture of two children “fighting” on mom’s lap, the dancing mom (so elengant!) and oh, how cute the Japanese mom with her daughter in bed! What a wonderful family you have!
Louis is fantastic, isn’t he? Hmm, I’ll ask Anne to invite him for the next party, heh. 😉

Yes, the dancing mother could represent so many of us, couldn’t it? I love all these photos for that reason…including the adorable one of the siblings fighting over mom!
And I’m thrilled you noticed the Mom in bed with her smiling daughter — because that’s my dear friend, Faith, who passed away last October very suddenly. She was such a wonderful mother, everyone always said that about her, either before or after they talked about her huge, welcoming smile.

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that! She looks like a wonderful person as well, not only a great mother. I’m sure she’s smiling at your tribute, wherever she is. 🙂
*hugs*

Oh, wait. I realize now that not everyone is family in the video. Well, it certainly looks like it, heh. 🙂

Beautiful way to honor so many mothers that you know. Happy Mother’s Day!

Thanks so much, Laura!
Mariana: Yes, aren’t these special moments? I love knowing them but hope everyone can relate even if you don’t know these great women, all of whom I have the privilege of knowing. Most are not family members, though my mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and an aunt are of course very much included!!
Thanks, Sally, I just wanted to reach out to everyone!

That was a great video. Your skill at producing this is amazing – the transitions, the panning, and I love the music – great choice.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend, Faith. That must have been a shock to everyone – how sad.
This was a beautiful tribute to mothers. You are lucky to know so many.
Thanks for putting this together for the tour.

Anne: Thank you – I’m just learning to use it, thank God they’ve made technology that someone like me can learn – now I’m an addict, I swear it’s this generation’s slide show!! Yes, and aren’t we all fortunate to know so many wonderful mothers and women in general?
Donna and techtigger: Thanks so much, and Have a great one!

Fabulous video! For some weird reason, I wasn’t able to comment on your blog the other day, but I THINK it’s letting me now. Anyway – happy Mother’s Day and beautiful job!

Oh, thanks for letting me know, I think someone else had that same problem. Maybe I was updating it at the time? Anyway, I appreciate your trying again. All the best!
